Did DUP Deceive Voters In Election Manifesto Pledges?

One ‘deceived DUP voter’ asked our panel in Lisburn why the DUP ‘sold their political principles’ by going into government with Sinn Fein. The only DUP member on the panel, Edwin Poots, defended his party’s actions by saying ‘the conditions we set have been met.’ The main conditions being the policing and justice matters, he went on to say: “Who would have believed that Martin McGuinness would stand beside the Chief Constable of the PSNI, condemning republicans?”

Do you agree with ‘deceived DUP voter’ that the DUP have misled their voters about going into government? Or, conversely, do you think that the steps taken are wholly positive?
